Quora gained so much popularity earlier because of its unique question-and-answer-based platform idea. Quora was founded in 2009 by former Facebook employees Adam D’Angelo and Charlie Cheever.
The Main Purpose of this Platform is to connect with people through Knowledge. Quora is a platform on which people can find genuine human-written answers. On Quora, you can ask any question on any topic. Users engage with each other through questions and answers.
Why is Quora Famous Among Bloggers?
Quora is very famous among bloggers because it gives them the liberty to post their unique content and helps them to drive traffic to their website. Earlier, Content creators like Bloggers and vloggers used Quora to drive traffic.
Bloggers use Quora to engage on the Platform as well as drive traffic because Google Search prefers Quora and their topics many time appear on top of the Google search.
Quora Stopped Link Posting Content?
In Quora, you can still see the link posting option, but if you do link posting, then your account will be banned without any notice. Quora considers link posts as Spam Content.
Spamming and Over-Promotion are the main reasons for account bans. Quora wants to be a knowledge-sharing platform instead of a promotional platform. Quora doesn’t want users to switch to other places. Quora even monitors irrelevant comments in which some links are attached to drive traffic.
Quora didn’t even encourage Google search answers, Plagiarizing content from other creators, and AI-generated content.
If you’re one account ban and you create another account on Quora, then that newly created account will likely lead to further bans. Quora has systems to detect such activity.

My Experience:
I created my account on Quora in 2017. At that time, link posting was allowed. I was posting my website link as well as YouTube video links till 2019. Those 2 Years, I have gained a good audience as well as followers, but I stopped posting on Quora in 2020.
Recently, I was again active on Quora after 5 Long 5-year break. Even after 5 Years, I have opened my Quora profile. I didn’t know about this link posting wala updated rule. So, I posted my Website Article link and boom. My Profile was banned within 5 minutes of Posting.
No Warning, No Notice, Just Banned
I Was Shocked. I Created Another profile. This time, I was prepared not to post links initially. So, I Started Doing Normal Interacting posts with others on Space as well as posting my own Space. After 10 Days, I thought, let’s post another link post. I posted, and nothing happened to my profile. I was happy. So, I started posting daily 4-5 posts and 1 Link post another day. My Profile Again Banned.
I created a 3rd Profile and after working 15 Days with normal and Quality posts without any links but that account also got banned after posting only 1 Link Post to Drive Traffic.
So, according to my experience, Quora is Dead for those bloggers who want to drive traffic. IF You want to drive traffic on Your Website, then use Facebook, Twitter, even YouTube can Helps you but not Quora.
